Segregation of Duties for LAUA or LS9
One of the greatest benefits of the Lawson System Foundation (LSF9) technology platform is the new security administration application, Lawson Security 9 (LS9). This new security model offers a number of significant improvements over the legacy LAUA model. With these benefits comes additional complexity when validating that your security model does not violate Segrgation of Duties (SoD) policies.
Our SoD application includes a collection of over 200 prebuilt SoD policies that can be run against either your LAUA or LS9 security models. By using conditional AND/OR logic these 200 policies expand to over 2,200 rules used to valiate your security. You can also add additional policies that are particular to your organization. Each policy has a priority setting based on your concerns or can be tuned off if it doesn't apply to your operation.
SoD policies are included for General Ledger, Cash Management, Closing Activities, Payroll, Asset Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Order Entry.
